STUDENT FIREFIGHTER: Student Firefighter positions may be posted annually for interested and qualified applicants.  We are updating our Student Firefighter program; stay connected to learn more when we post details.

There are three great ways for you to stay connected and be ready to join our team when a vacancy occurs:

1. Submit an interest form. This allows us to reach out directly when openings occur for new District staff and volunteers.
2. Sign up for a ride along with our career personnel. You can spend time in stations with our Fire Crews or shadow our Community Care or Deputy Fire Marshals to experience a day on the job.
3. Attend a Tuesday Drill Night. See our volunteers participate in and practice skills with our career fire crews.  Visit the schedule for drill nights and find a location near you.

About Our District

Fire District 3 provides fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, and risk reduction services to the residents living in the cities of Central Point, Eagle Point, and Gold Hill and the communities of White City, Sams Valley, Dodge Bridge, and Agate Lake. We offer a variety of team opportunities including the option to join our Technical Rescue Team (TRT). The TRT provides technical rescue in swift water, low/high angle rope, and extrication environments. 

We offer a variety of in-house and outside agency training opportunities to provide the best customer service to our communities. Our training grounds provide a space in which our department is able to train with neighboring agencies utilizing our confined space structure, training tower, burn containers and Regional Training Center Simulation House. 

In addition to our traditional response system, our Community Care Program provides services to our community via a Paramedic/EMT response team, accessible through direct referral by emergency response personnel, direct contact from a District Patron, or response through the 911 system.
